Anyone else think mma is kind of gay

In football/soccer it’s the same alpha culture, but gay people are alienated by their own club, teammates and fans. In MMA you don’t need to cooperate with, trust and bond with teammates it can be you against the world. I know it’s not an ideal environment for young sportspeople, but possibly better than sone others. As part of Pride Month, BBC Sport looks at why there is a lack of openly gay male MMA fighters and what needs to change.

“Fighting in MMA and being openly gay hasn’t presented a problem,” he said. “I think the only way it would is if I were to do something to make them uncomfortable and made it an issue.
